Purchase: I bought this saddle from Calabasas Saddlery in LA on a whim just before a big show. I paid $750 - it was lightly used.
Likes: I love this saddle. It's easily one of the most comfortable I've ever used, with a lovely deep seat and extremely soft leather. I don't have knee blocks and don't think I'd even want them, as it's easy to have a nice upright position with this saddle.
Dislikes: The leather dye seems to have rubbed off a bit under the stirrup leathers, but as it's concealed by my leg, it doesn't bother me all that much. Also, I have found the seat to be a bit slippery with some types of breeches, which is more of a problem with the breeches than the saddle.
Quality: Really quality construction. Clearly all the leather was high quality as well as the workmanship.
Summary: I love this saddle (as do many of my friends who've used it)!
