Purchase: My neighbor had this model of saddle that she loved for her gaited, (spotted saddle) horse. It was perfect for my gaited mare too. I went on Ebay and purchased one like brand new for $125.00.
Likes: This saddle seems very well made, very light, easy to clean, you just wipe it down which is so much easier than all the care and cleaning you have to do with leather in our Florida heat and humidity.
I found it to be comfortable to ride and perfect for a gaited horse as it allows you to sit back a little further than most forward seat (barrel racing, other western) saddles.
Dislikes: Just doesn't have the old leather squeak as you ride, but I enjoy the quiet too.
Quality: I found it to be well made. My son has left it in the rain a few times and with a good wiping down it seems just fine.
Summary: I am actively trying to find another one just like the saddle I have, like new, as I just dont have the funds for a brand new one. It is a great saddle especially for a gaited horse.
