Purchase: I bought this saddle four years ago at Apple Saddlery in ottawa. I paid around 295$ for it brand spankin' new. It was a pretty good deal! It was my first saddle.
Likes: I love this saddle! I've been using it every single day for the past 4 years and nothing is broken or unstitched or nothing! it is worth way more than it costs. It is also very comfortable to sit in, it doesn't feel like you are siting on wood.
Dislikes: there is barely anything not to like about this saddle. Apart from the flaps on top of the stirrup bars are jabbing in your leg sometimes, but with wear and tear, it goes away. Another thing is, the leather on the skirt is ribbed so it doesn't give a nice finished look. And finally, like every other saddle in this world, the die is coming off were the stirrup straps go.
Quality: This saddle fits all the horses i have put it on!(that's a lot of horses, trust me) so it is well constructed. the leather is thick and durable and the stitching is superb!
Summary: I really love this saddle and recommend it to any rider looking for a first saddle...or even a tenth one! :) i take it to shows all the time and people complement me on it. it's really a beauty!
