Purchase: Purchased from Dover on clearance for $50. Needed waterproof boots.
Likes: These boots are the most comfortable paddock boots I've ever had. They are like walking in tennis shoes. They have excellent cushion in the heel. I wear them everywhere. They are easy to put on with the zipper. I ride in them, run errands, barn chores etc... They never cause any foot soreness or aching in the heel and arch like my heritage boots did.
Dislikes: Really nothing- they discolor a bit where the chaps rub but other than that nothing. They seem a bit roomier than the usual paddock boots which always seem narrow and constricting with no 'give' when walking.
Quality: I wear them ALOT in all conditions including very, very hot weather and very cold weather. So far they are holding up perfectly- I ended up buying another pair in the paddock version with no zipper in brown leather- actually prefer the zipper as I can put them on to get out the door with no hands and zip them up on the go!
Summary: Highly recommend- they are not as dressy as some jodphur boots- more sporty but can't see going back to the slippery stiff kind ever again.
