Purchase: I purchased my saddle from a local retailer who was very willing to let me test ride it for an extended period to ensure that I was 100% satisfied. The saddle was expensive ($3000 plus CDN), but a very worthwhile investment in my horse and riding!
Likes: I found the the saddle places me in a very classical dressage position and that my leg is very steady at all gaits (I find the canter amazing in this saddle!) It fits my TB very well and allows free movement in the shoulder.
Dislikes: On initial first looks, I was unsure about the buffalo leather, but I have come to really like its durability. The retailer told me that once it breaks in, it has a lovely feel.
Summary: I am happy with my investment, and by purchasing from and supporting a local retailer, I know I will have great service for years to come.
