Purchase: I recently purchased these boots from Equestrian Collections. I was searching for a boot for cold weather riding in rough terrain. They normally run about $110, but I found them on sale for $70.
Likes: These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on! They are a bit roomy in the heal, which may just be my foot, but a bulky sock took care of that. Because of the sort of terrain I ride I wanted something with a reasonable tread but that would not catch in my stirrup, and these fit the bill. They also feature a fully waterproof upper and did not allow penetration when I was walking through a shallow creek. The Thinsulate insulation is great - warm and toasty on my usually chilly feet!
Dislikes: The zipper on one boot does not pull up as smoothly as the other. The zippers feel sturdy, but my concern is that the extra tug will eventually cause it to wear out quicker than the other boot.

Summary: I can definitely recommend this boot! If you are looking for something to extend your riding season and keep you comfortable into the chilly months, the Arctic Zip is a great choice.
