Purchase: I bought this product because my horse is a chronic shoe loser with very week walls. I paid 14.95 and purchased it from Valley vet.
Likes: it protected my horse hoof quite well from chipping while he waited to have his shoe replaced. he was not bothered by having it on and it stayed on. I also liked the price.
Dislikes: it was a bit tricky to get on at first.
but ones I figured out to hook the back strap the front before putting his hoof down it went quite well.
because my horse loses so many shoes(4 or is it 5 in 4 months) I would have liked if it lasted longer. but for occasional or one time use that would not be a problem.
Quality: the design is good and fit my horses well. the Velcro stays stuck and the ballistic nylon is stronger than it looks.
I have had it on at various times for about a total of two and a half weeks and it is just starting to show ware at toe.
I did not use it for turn out.
Summary: I like it and it worked quite well.
very useful for the price and did its job well.
