Purchase: I purchased Bitterlicks over the internet for $60.00. When sent our half Arabian
3 yr gelding out for training under saddle. He is a sweetheart very attentive and tries very hard to please. He was born on our farm and he had never cribbed, or chewed on the stall. He was only stalled at night an he got plenty of hay. He was at the trainers for 3 months. He was stalled most of the time unless he was in training. During the last month their it was obvious he was loosing weight. We brought him home right away and noticed he was trying his best to crib. We tried a lot of cribbing products on the stall but they did not work. We tried a cribbing collar, he would take it off. Finally we decided to but his halter on over the cribbing collar and that helped. In my search for answers I found the site on Bitterlicks.
Likes: We gradually started taking the cribbing collar off to see how he would do. Bitterlicks has stopped our gelding from cribbing. We are pleased with the product. We found it did work in our case. He is getting back to his old self.
Dislikes: You do have to follow the instructions as for as wearing a mask and gloves when applying this product. Do not apply it if it is windy. You do not want to breath it or get it on your hands, or in your eyes. If it is used in an enclosed stall, open the doors and windows for ventilation.
Quality: Easy to use, clear in color.
Summary: You may want to add a little food coloring to see where you have sprayed it. It did work in our case. We where just heart broken when we got Shatar back from the trainer and saw he was starting to crib. I am thankful for Bitterlicks.
