Purchase: i got my brown charles owens at Dover Saddlery in the spring of 2007 for $280 as a late birthday present.
Likes: i LOOOVE this helmet. it is BY FAR the most comfortable thing ive ever put on my head. when i was getting my previous show helmet i tried it on along with a gpa, the hampton by charles owens, and a couple others. i ended up getting the hampton, but only because it was cheaper and at the time the GR8 was new, and my trainer said she wasnt sure if they were allowed in shows. (the brown anyway)but after a 1/2 a year or so i needed a new show helmet, and i immediately went and got the GR8.
Dislikes: i love it and there isn't anything i think is wrong with it, it is AMAZING!!!
Quality: from what i have seen it has held up well, ive only worn it 15 times or so so far because i use it for shows only, but from what ive seen it is AMAZING in quality, comfort, and construction.
Summary: GR8=the best thing you'll ever put on your head... buy it!!!
