Purchase: I bought this bridle from a store through cavalier. I was looking for a fancy good quality bridle do use in hunters. I paid about $700 in total for the bridle and matching reins.

Dislikes: the leather for this bridle is absolutely horrid!! it feels like plastic. I was very upset that I spent so much money for this bridle and was very disappointed. It was suppose to be handmade but had obviously been machine made the stitching was all crooked and the holes for the buckles are tilted to one side. the buckles on this bridle are round which made big dents in the leather making it ugly. The bridle that I received was the right model that i ordered but looked completely different than it did in the catalog. I have seen the same bridle in different stores and it is just like mine. Don't think that after you oil it, it will be any better, because I soaked mine in vegetable oil for 2 days ( so the leather wouldn't break right off when i tried to use it) and the leather did soften but it nothing like the quality that it should be.
Quality: the quality is that of a bridle that costs $30.
Summary: this bridle is incredibly over priced and does not! look a thing like the model in the catalog. I would give it a 0 but the scale does not go that low.
