Dressage Saddles

For Sale on eBay

Manufacturer: Passier
Model: Optimum
Category: Dressage Saddles

Purchase: I am from Mandurah in Western Australia. I'm 5ft 3inches & 44. My riding is progressing. As I am serious about improving, I wanted a dressage saddle that would last the life of my horse (she is currently 7) and would provide comfort and not hinder my efforts for correct position. I tried many, many saddles, but once I sat in the passier, the decision was made! Not cheap ($4500 aust) but worth every penny!!

Likes: So soft, there is hardly any 'fight' against the leg flap when new. My horse is soooo much happier. She is quite green and still developing her muscle. However, we are working rounder, and I am maintaining my position more consistently. I am proud to own this saddle and feel a bit spoilt! I would say to buyers do not buy a saddle prior to trying a Passier!

Dislikes: Nothing. Just can not think of a single negative! I guess the only thing I am yet to find out is the test of time. I have only had this saddle for four months. But so far all is very well.

Quality: Calf leather. Precision made. beautiful finish. Medium to low pommel and lovely seat. I feel 'centred' in this saddle.

Summary: Very happy with my decision to purchase such a well made and respected saddle. You only live once, and I have worked hard to be able to afford a saddle such as this. I am 44 and did not ride for ten to fifteen years through fear. I have had my mare for 2.5 years now and only started competing in late 2006. I hope to succeed at a moderate level in dressage (currently novice) with my Passier!
