Purchase: I acquired this unit 20 years ago from Sams Western Store in Beaumont Texas. I paid $1100 for it. I still ride this saddle.
Likes: I love the ride it gives and the way it helps you sit up straight in your seat. I love the deep seat and the high back. The swells are perfect and the high back is just right. you can ride with your legs and leave your hands free if you need them but of course using the horn on the turns. The horn is also the correct size not to small as to dig into your hand in the turns but not too big as to not be able to hold on too. It fits any horse perfect.
Dislikes: The only thing I do not like about it now, is the fact that I can't find one to fit me. they all come in 14"-15" seats and I am now much larger and need a 16.5" seat. I still cram myself into my old saddle but I really need a new one.
I also would like them to have a better selection of styles. Like make something in Camo with the bling or stingray or something like that to really shine up a horse.
Quality: The quality of my unit was very good. How many saddles can be ridden in 20 years and only have the stirrup leathers changed once and the finders repaired once from wear. This saddle is ridden in at least 5 times a week for 20 years. I would say that the construction is great.
Summary: I would buy this product again if I can get the seat size I need.
