Purchase: I purchased these boots at a local english tack store on sale for $275. I needed some tall dressage boots for an upcoming dressage show.
Likes: To sum it all up, I just SIMPLY LOVE these boots! They are sooo comfortable and break in nicely. I only wore them 5 times, and they broke in immediately. They also make it easier to ride my big-moving Oldenburg because they enable me to keep my heels down and focus on my seat.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like is that you have to undo your spurs when you want to put the boots on or take them off because of the zipper.
Quality: These boots are well made. They are zipper pulls in the back, so they are easy to put on and take off. No boot pulls needed. They are made of fine, soft english leather that is water resistant. The calf also has a stretch backing that moves with the shape of your leg.
Summary: These are my first pair of tall boots and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I was expecting tall boots to be uncomfortable, but these proved me wrong. They are a little pricey, regular price being $300...but they are VERY worth it! If you can get them on sale, that's even better!
