Purchase: This saddle was purchased through Iberian Connection in Phoenix (www.iberianconnection.com). It is made in Spain. I paid 1500 US for it without fittings.
Likes: The ride in this saddle is like a very expensive Sports Car. It is the minimum amount of saddle for the maximum amount of performance. It is light weight, the seat is deep, it has thin pencil rolls that don't get in your way, but you can use them for support if you need to. The horses responded well to it ie. happy to bring their backs up and work through the topline. The saddle doesn't interfere with either the horse or the rider.
Dislikes: This is the best Dressage saddle I've ridden in. I've formerly had Dressage saddles made in Germany, England and custom made saddles.
Quality: Construction and quality is very good. Saddle is light weight.
Summary: Highly recommended for Iberian horses and riders who would like a deep seat but aren't requiring large thigh rolls. Works for horses with uphill, long withers, Iberian horses. True to size.
