Purchase: I bought the Jeffers Freelander Blanket for $71.20. The Executive Model was that price too and and in the review I will write why.
Likes: I bought the Freelander to keep my horse warm while she was inside and outside and I didn't have a ton of money. The blanket did keep her pretty warm and I liked the price.
Dislikes: I dislike basically everything about this blanket. I had problems with the Freelander after only a short time, sent it back(for another Freelander to replace it), had problems with that second one, sent it back again and it was replaced with the Executive. Now I am having problems with the Executive model.
Quality: I will describe the quality of the Executive blanket since that is what my review is for.
The quality of the blanket is very, very poor. The outer shell fabric has rips in many spots. The "Unbreakable Steel Hardware" is very cheap and broke on the front of the blanket, therefore I have only one strap to close the front of the blanket(on my horse's chest). The dee ring on the back of the blanket for the leg straps broke off because the sewing job was obviously poor.
Summary: This whole blanket is bad quality. I would never recommend jeffers blankets and I won't ever buy one again. The executive blanket isn't very cheap either so I would expect better quality. Unfortunately I will have to go with a different brand in the future.
The people at customer service were nice though and were good about getting it replaced.
