Purchase: Bought from a local tack shop, on sale for $215 because it was shop-worn. I bought this bridle to show in (Hunter/jumper), the color was gorgeous and I fell in love with the bridle and had to have it.
Likes: The overall look of the bridle is quite stunning. I got a lot of compliments at the show and it fit my 15 hand Arab sport horse's head perfectly. It became pretty soft (not buttery soft but comfortable for my horse) after just 1 oiling. The color of the leather has remained beautiful and the bridle really shows off your horse's face.
Dislikes: The price! I was very lucky to get this bridle for $215, I know it retails for much more. Since I only use it for shows I am sad that I can't see my horse looking so gorgeous on a daily basis. I wish I could also use this bridle for schooling, but then it wouldn't look half as nice for the shows. This bridle will spoil you and turn you into a bridle snob. That's the only real drawback besides the price!
Quality: Excellent quality and construction, although the leather was quite dry and stiff before the first oiling but this may have been because it was sitting in that tack shop for a couple of years.
Summary: I really love this bridle, it is great for horse shows and will really give your horse that extra polish he needs to win!
