Purchase: I bought this saddle from www.EngageSaddles.com, Kim Peterson through phone conversation and sending her my tracings. I have a problem with most brands of dressage splitting me in half with their width in the seat. I ride a 3XW in Franks tree - Fresian mare and found this saddle fit her perfectly but also allowed my leg to hand straight. This is the first time I have been comfortable on my mare. I have tried inexpensive brand and the more costly french custom route. I paid $2400 including shipping.
Likes: I love the narrow area under my inner thigh that allows my leg to hang straight, the other saddles tipped my pelvis forward and bruised my inner thigh that fit her, they never worked for me.
Dislikes: The leather is wonderful but I wish I could get it in suede, I have removed the velcro blocking and would like smaller blocks which are on order.
Quality: Extremely well made, high end leather, small tight stitching and the panels are soft not hard wool. The panels are also flat and level with her back, many other brands where angled and did not make a full contact.
Summary: I am ordering a jumping for her as soon and was impressed with the quality for the price and fit.
