Purchase: I purchased this bridle through Stateline Tack for $80 regular price. I was desperate for an oversize bridle for my new horse.
Likes: I like that this bridle holds up well. It hasn't cracked or fallen apart at all. It is an attractive bridle and looks really expensive if you didn't know how much it really cost.
Dislikes: I don't like the fact that the bridle has no padding on the caveson, brow, or crown. It can chafe sensitive horse's easily. The laced reins aren't comfortable.
Quality: This bridle is constructed well with tight stitching and okay quality leather for the price. It hasn't fallen apart on me yet. It is hard to dissemble when changing bits, etc because the leather is stiff...but soaking the bridle in olive oil will help condition & soften the leather.
Summary: This bridle is a good investment if you want to have a spare for your convenience. It gets the job done. I would recommend buying a fleece set to wrap around the caveson, brow, & crown for extra cushion though.
