Close Contact Saddles
Manufacturer: St. Lourdes
Model: Tango
Category: Close Contact Saddles
Purchase: I got this saddle from a not-so-high-quality tack shop about two years ago, it costs about $600 for the oakbark with a 16 1/2 inch seat.
Likes: Well, not a ton.... when I saw it I liked it's color I guess. It was a kinda lightish oil oakbark color that is more orange looking. I liked that then I don't really like that now.
Dislikes: First if all the quality of this leather is TERRIBLE! No matter how much I oiled the thing it never got soft or darker.
It has this really ugly bright orange stripe separating the seat from the skirt, ew.
I think it's a little like an all purpose saddle actually, it has a deeper seat and long flaps, it put me in a horrible chair seat I am working to fix.
Quality: Horrible.
Summary: Not a good saddle.
