Purchase: I purchased this bridle for $15 (retail on this one was around $40) from a lady who hadn't used it much and was cleaning out her barn. I bought it with the intention of schooling and showing locally with it.
Likes: I really liked the leather on the bridle, after I gave it a good cleaning and conditioning. The bridle was and still is tightly stitched, and the stitches cleaned up to a nice white with a little elbow grease.
Dislikes: I didn't care much for the dying on this bridle. It wasn't the worst I had ever seen, nor was it the best. I think that this bridle was made in Argentina also, so I believe that has something to do with it.
Quality: The quality overall was pretty nice for a $15 dollar bridle. The construction really complimented my horses head by not being to wide or to narrow.
Summary: The price was right on this bridle, and it still looks as good as when I brought it home. It's definitely not the bridle to take to any "A rated" shows.
I would recommend this bridle to anyone looking for a schooling bridle to last or even a local show bridle.
