Purchase: I ordered this item from horseloverz.com. It was a floor model but still in wonderful condition. I paid $75 for the helmet and haven't regretted it since!
Likes: I love the lower profile. It's sleek and makes me feel 100% safe. I feel like this helmet protects all of my head rather then just the top. I have a Troxel schooling helmet and now I love my Troxel show helmet!
Dislikes: The "coolmax" air flow system doesn't work at all. This helmet is hot hot hot in the summer. In the winter, the lack of air flow makes my glasses fog up! But that's the price I'm willing to pay for safety!
Quality: The velvet is easily bruised which is annoying since there's nothing you can do to get them out. However, it's super easy to clean and it's some of the best quality velvet I've seen in a long time.
Summary: I would recommend this helmet for anyone who's willing to take good care of it. It'll make you feel incredibly safe, even on the toughest horses.
