Purchase: I'm a natural horse lover from the heart so wherever I go I HAVE to check out the tack shop. I bought these chaps at The Tack Room in Vicksburg, PA. I bought them for roughly $40 as an early Christmas present.
Likes: These half chaps are just amazing. They are made out of Amara so they especially morph to fit your leg shape and you can wash them!!! Whenever my jods are dirty and I wear jeans they never fail me. I have this horrible saddle that pinches your legs between your stirrup and the saddle. With these chaps it's prevented and they are comfy. They come in really cute colors like blue, purple, etc. Even come with a pony's face embroidered on the side! I swear I always ride horribly without them. You name it, they do it. They ROCK!!!
Dislikes: There is NOTHING at all I don’t like about these half chaps! The only problem may be that I bought a size too big so I could grow into them. No problem, they moved right to my leg and stretch as I need it. No problems with this half chap, guarneteed.
Quality: These are built like no other half chap. A lot of half chaps are too long or wide for me to wear since I have weird calves. These just moved and shortened without scrunching the materiel to fit perfectly. They have been worn seven days a week every week for about a month now, and are in perfect condition. Even when I left them near my pony in the cross ties and they got chewed a bit they didn't get ruined at all. They are perfect and durable.
Summary: Basically these half chaps are AWESOME! You have to go out and buy them NOW. They will make you so happy. I swear I rode 100% better with them then my old half chaps. No exaggeration, these half chaps are the best out there. Totally worth the money and for the quality they should be like $100. Go buy these half chaps ASAP.
