Purchase: This pad was recommended for me to use on my appendix mare who has scoliosis. I paid $130.00 over the internet.

Likes: This is an extremely dense rubber pad which absorbs shock and keeps my saddle from slipping. The minute I put it on my mare, I felt the difference, and I'm sure she did, too! I originally bought this so the hair on her back towards her butt wouldn't wear off with her swayback steps, and it works. Hair does not rub off, and the saddle stays put!

Dislikes: It stinks like rubber (well, what do you expect?). And it is a bit pricey.

Quality: This will tough for years and will not bottom out...ever.

Summary: For those thinking of their horse's comfort, this is a great investment.
