Purchase: I bought this saddle on eBay. It was a brand new reining saddle. I was looking for a reining saddle and this saddle caught my eye so we purchased it for over $1,200.00. Saddles similar to the one I have are priced between $1,500.00 and $1,800.00.
Likes: This saddle has a slight deeper seat then most reining saddles do, it has a very close contact feel to it, it fits every horse I've had it on from the very wide and stout QH to the thinner of the TB's. It is very comfortable for those all day rides and for the training sessions.
Dislikes: Physically there isn't any thing about this saddle I don't like. What I don't like is the price, if it were a little cheaper I would have five of them but, then again if it were cheaper it probably wouldn't be as well made as it is.
Quality: This saddle is made of good leather, felt broke in from the first time I rode in it. This is a well made well built saddle.
Summary: Basically, I really like this saddle and would recommend one to any one. I was a little reluctant at first because I thought that the quality of Circle Y's weren't all that great, but, when I got this saddle I was very surprised and when I rode in it that was even better. Now I'm looking for a newer Circle Y Rope saddle because I like this one so much.
