Purchase: I bought these breeches for about $60 at a local tack store, and really do like them. Since I'm not a super skinny teenage girl (I'm a 30 something mom), the extra space in the rear is great. I tried on multiple pairs of "regular fit" breeches, and got more depressed with each one. Finally, I tried on these and found my fit.
Likes: These breeches are made to fit women with real figures, not super skinny girls. The extra room in the seat goes around a fuller tush fine, and they seemed to have more room overall through the legs and calves than "regular" breeches of the same size, which my body really appreciated! The fabric is also nice - soft with enough stretch. They have held up fine through shows, and now my original pair is my schooling pair.
Dislikes: I wish they weren't quite so long in the rise. while I don't want a true "low rise" breech, these are a little long. I have a couple of friends who also found the same thing. They do shrink a little when dried, so I hang mine to dry. They are a little more "telling" than other fabrics that have some synthetics, so you do have to be aware of panty lines (but what breeches ARE flattering!)
Quality: They seem to be made well - mine aren't showing major wear. Seams are reinforced, zipper and waist closures are doing fine.
Summary: If you are past the age of 18, or just have a little more meat on your bones, be sure to try these breeches on.
