Purchase: I bought this saddle off of ebay and it was the third saddle I had bought off the site (sent one) back for about $575. The first (not a Big Horn)was awful and just sits in the tack room. It was lightly used and I've had it about 6 months now.
Likes: Amazed at how well it actually fits my horse! She's a big-hipped mare and I use this saddle mostly for training and light trail riding on her day off. It gives me a nice, deep seat and the leather is pretty good quality for the money
Dislikes: Fenders are too wide! Spend a lot of time with my feet out of the stirrups so my horse can feel my legs. A huge no-no for a reining saddle. This is my major (and only complaint).
Quality: Light oil that is really put together well. I don't think this saddle was used for more than a dozen times although there was a stain on the roughout seat.
Summary: A great saddle for the money and I am really pleased with the fit. For a novice in reining, I think this is a good starter saddle, although I am already on the hunt for a new one for the show ring.
