Purchase: I bought this saddle on the internet for about $200. It came with a matching girth, leathers, and stirrups irons. I was looking for an affordable saddle for schooling.
Likes: The first thing that I noticed was the soft seat. It is more shock absorbent than other saddles that I've ridden in. The adjustable/removable knee block are a nice feature, so I can ride with more support or in a more close contact way.
Dislikes: I don't like the odd fabric-like material on the knee rolls or the fact that the padding is very foam-like, but it has stayed in the original shape. The billets are nylon, but they are sturdy and haven't frayed or shown any sign of damage.
Quality: This is not a top quality synthetic saddle, but for schooling in it suits well. The material is proving to be strong. (Considering my horse tried rolling with this saddle on and there was only a light scuff mark and a lot of dirt on the saddle.) The tree is 100% sound. This saddle is working very well for being banged against the rail while lounging, getting hit on fences, and an attempt to roll on.
Summary: As I've said before, this isn't top quality, but it makes for a good everyday schooling saddle or for beginners. It is easy to care for and comfortable.
