Purchase: These were given to me as a gift, but they usually sell for around $100. I was in need of boots that I could wear for barn chores as well as ride in.
Likes: I love how the leather is strong, yet supple. I like how it has the sipper in the back for easy on and off. The boots are comfortable for someone like me that is on my feet all day for 10 hours+.
Dislikes: I don't like laces on boots, but this is just a personal preference. I do wish these boots had a bit more support for people on their feet a lot.
Quality: Within three years. these boots have been cleaned maybe ten times and the leather is still supple. The leather has also gotten wet while remaining soft and flexible. All of the stitching has stayed in place. The only signs of wear are the scuffs and scratches on the toe, the laces (Which have been replaced), and the leather connected to the tab that goes over the zipper when it's done up. I have been stepped on by horses quite a few times while wearing these boots and they come out with little or no damage.
Summary: These are fantastic paddock boots. Ariat is a very reputable company for making good quality riding and paddock boots.
