Purchase: I got these at a local ridding outfitters for about $40. I was in need of a helmet because it was required at the riding school.
Likes: I like how this helmet has the dial fit system. The chip strap was also comfortable and easy to adjust. The colour choices are nice to fit a variety of tastes.
Dislikes: I don't like how the visor is removable as I had a half-on visor as some moments. It didn't really fit my odd shaped head, but I know a lot of people that have this helmet and love it.
Quality: Troxel makes nice helmets. I had this helmet for about two years and it went through a lot of abuse. Everything kept in place and with a good wipe off, it looked almost new. (Except for the load of scratches on top) I stopped using this helmet after I fell off and landed on my head purely for safety reasons. (And bought another Troxel)
Summary: A lot of people have this helmet and enjoy it. It wasn't quite the right helmet for me, but as an everyday helmet it was just what I needed. It will make your head look quite large, but safety is key.
