Purchase: I bought this saddle pad from Dover on sale for about $10.00. I wanted a nice schooling pad.
Likes: I like the extra cushion on the withers and the diamond stitching that give the pad a smart look. The padding is nice and I like how well it fits in the gullet of my saddle.
Dislikes: I wish the wither padding covered a little more area.
Quality: This is a tough saddle pad, the stitching is strong and even throughout. The nylon straps that go on the billets and hold the girth in place are strong as well as functional. The material is soft and looks nice.
Summary: Even though I use this pad for schooling, I would use it for showing as well. It looks very nice and is affordable. A lot of people have this saddle pad and love it. It's not bulky which is nice for getting it into the gullet, thus minimizing pressure on the spine.
