Horse Treats
Manufacturer: Wildflower Horse Treats
Model: Tropical Horse Treats
Category: Horse Treats
Purchase: I get my horse treats from one of the popular equine order catalogs. They cost around $5. When I first started ordering them, they where good. Good enough for me to eat them!
However I discovered they had changed drastically. No longer were they a crispy, delicious cookie, but more like a blob of partially cooked dough. Almost like gummy bears. My mare ate hers with much chewing and smacking, but she will eat string! My gelding (the resident food critic) said "No thanks!", even when I left it over night in his food bucket. I have not been able to contact the company to give them his opinion.
Likes: Natural ingredients.
Dislikes: They keep changing the product to the point where my horse no longer eats it.
Quality: Doughy.
Summary: They tried to fix something that wasn't broke. I am afraid to order any of the other flavors for fear they won't get eaten!
