Purchase: These jackets retail for around $110.00, new. Mine was a Christmas gift last year bought from a local riding shop.
Likes: This jacket is lightweight, yet very warm. I usually wear with just a turtleneck underneath, and if it's cooler out, I will add a wicking fabric tank top under the turtleneck. That usually is all I need to stay warm with this jacket. Also nice is that once you start to ride and warm up, the fabric seems to adjust to your body temperature, I never felt too warm or cold when wearing it, before, during or after a ride. The inside is a soft fleece, the outside is smooth and will repel shavings and horsehair to maintain a neat appearance. You have full range of motion, the sleeves are longer than on most jackets, which is great since I am tall and have long arms.
Dislikes: I can't think of anything I don't like about this jacket!
Quality: Fitted design with drop tail and additional arm length allows full mobility with full coverage. Deep pockets with zippers keep hands warm and hold gloves and horse treats without having to stuff them in. Flattering seams and tailored fit, the look is as great as the performance of this jacket! Made from Windsport fabric that blocks wind and repels water.
Summary: Here's a winter riding jacket that tends to your every need, so all you have to do is get out and ride. I own this jacket in black and wore it to a recent Hunter Pace event and was warm yet more formal looking than those in bulkier winter jackets.
