Purchase: I got this through a local tack shop, in order to protect my head (I have always worn a helmet) I think I paid around 60-70 dollars.
Likes: Its very comfortable, and you can adjust the fit with some padding. It also provides back of the head coverage, which is very rare.
Dislikes: Velvet helmet covers look pretty demented on this helmet. I guess I would say this helmet was not built for looks or the show ring. I also think the back of the head coverage does interfere with my head position in two point. Other than that, its a nice helmet.
Quality: Constructed INCREDIBLY well. You can tell that some thought was put into the tipperary. I wish they would expand their line to include show helmets.
Summary: The Quality makes it WELL WORTH the cost. I would certainly buy this brand again for a schooling helmet. and I think its nice for Western riders, not too english-y.
