Purchase: I bought this saddle from Rods Western Palace for around $600. I needed a good western saddle that would work for a variety of disciplines.
Likes: I love this saddle! It is made of very high quality, thick leather. It has Montana Silver, basketweave tooling, rawhide accents, and partial roughout fenders. It came with high quality rigging and rawhide stirrups. I really like the square skirt and silver accents because it doubles as my western pleasure and horsemanship saddle. It is very attractive and well made.
Dislikes: I can't say much bad about this saddle. I wish that the leather would be a little easier to break in. Also I would go with full-quarter bars as the semi-quarter bars are a little restricting.
Quality: This saddle is extremely well made. From the leather to the rawhide to the silver, it is a top quality saddle.
Summary: If you want a well made, attractive saddle go with a Rocking R!
