Jumping Saddles
Manufacturer: Stubben
Model: Edelweiss
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle used from Schneiders for around $700.
Likes: This saddle is amazing! The leather is soft and a beautiful havana color. When riding on the flat, it puts you slightly forward and very well balanced. The tree is the perfect shape and fits a variety of horses. I have used it on a high withered TB, and a rollie-pollie pony.
Dislikes: The leather scratches very easily. Also, when jumping it allows your leg to slide a little to far back. I think it is better suited as an AP saddle rather than a jumping saddle. It was a little out of my budget, but well worth the money.
Quality: The saddle is very high quality. I would estimate my saddle to be around 7 years old. It probably has at least that many years left.
Summary: If you want a high quality, durable, and extremely attractive AP saddle, go with a Stubben!
