Purchase: I purchased this item at a sporting goods store in New England for $25.00. I wanted something that would cover my head and face in cold weather while riding or working around the barn.
Likes: The Combo Clava Fleece Hood with Facemask resembles the headpiece of a scuba-diver's wetsuit. It closely covers the ears, neck and back of the head. It can be worn with the built-in face mask up or down. The face mask reaches high enough to cover the nose, and has ventilation holes for easy breathing. It can be worn under a helmet comfortably, and is windproof, waterproof, and machine washable, too!
Dislikes: Just a quibble, really, but it only comes in black. Other colors would be nice!
Another quibble-I need to wear glasses, and if I have the facemask up, my glasses get fogged!
Quality: The fabric is stretchy, allowing for a custom-fit and easy movement, and the seams are sewn flat. The inside is lined in a soft, non-itchy fleece.
Summary: I really love my Combo Clava and will buy another soon!!
