Purchase: I ordered this halter for my mother for Christmas. I bought it from Smith Brothers Roping supply. I called the toll free number to order, since I wanted to make sure that I got the personalized monogram correct. I paid $39.95 for the halter, in custom color that I chose. The customer service was wonderful, and the halter arrived early, almost 2 weeks sooner than predicted!! (I was worried I had waited too close to Christmas to order, so I was extremely pleased.)
Likes: This is a well made halter!! I ordered a blue halter with a red overlay and blue monogram stitching. The buckles are solid, good quality and the nylon is top quality, nothing cheap here!! The nose stitching looks good, everything was correctly spelled, no errors.
Dislikes: The only thing I did not like was the color combination, but I chose the colors because my mom likes them and it is HER halter not mine!! She loved the gift and thought I chose great colors!!
Quality: The halter was royal blue with red overlay. I chose both of these colors and the monogram stitch color, which is royal blue. The hardware is brass plated, very nice and sturdy. This halter should last, unlike some low quality ones that are out there for sale. The nylon is top quality, doubled at nose and tripled at cheeks.
Summary: Very nice product. I would definately order from Smith Brothers again. Customer service was very friendly and helpful, even in the pre-Christmas rush. The order did not arrive on time, it arrived very early!! You will not be disappointed if you buy one of these halters!
