Purchase: I've bought several pairs, in multiple sizes. Used and new. New they run about 120-160ish. You can find them used on eBay for about half that. I use them on all my horses, both jumping and dressage. Even when we're just hacking cross country.
Likes: These things are great! They fit a variety of horses, and pony sizes are available. They last forever -- very durable and easy to maintain. Just hose them off after riding, and occasionally scrub them in a bucket of warm soapy water. Just remember to rinse them well. I love that the velcro lasts forever. So many boots with velcro closures get worn and the velcro no longer holds tightly, causing a potentially dangerous situation. They are contoured to the horse's leg well, so even a novice can put them on correctly. The outer shell will stand up well to many hard rides in various conditions. I like that the Velcro across the front provides a little bit of protection for a jumping horse, but the horse will still feel if he hits a fence. Unlike polo-wraps which can teach a horse to be lazy through over-padding. All in all, these are versatile boots. Easy to use, easy to maintain, and will last a long time.
Dislikes: There's nothing I don't like about these boots.
Quality: Well made and versatile. Easy and quick to put on. Come in a variety of colors and sizes.
Summary: Great boots for anyone, jumpers or dressage. Protect the horse's legs just enough, and will wear well.
