Purchase: In my search for a Therapist who could help me with saddle fitting and muscular issues with my leased mare, I came across Julie Wright Certified EMT via the EMTA's advertisement in Horse Deals.
Likes: Having done indepth research myself about saddle fitting, I needed to talk with someone who understood what my concerns and needs were for the session. In short, I wanted more than a massage session for my horse, I needed solutions for the problems I knew I was experiencing. I found this in Julie. Not only did she consult with me over the phone, she arrived on time and spent approx 3hours with my horse and I explaining what she found, reasons why these muscular issues were happening. Together, we went through all the saddles in the tack shed until we came across the best fitting saddle that could be modified (repacked) to fit my mare. I learnt so much in these 3 hours and wasted so much money prior to finding Julie.
Dislikes: I didn't like that I had spent so much time, effort and not to mention wasted money PRIOR to finding Julie via the EMTA.
I had talked to other therapists on the phone who really couldn't even explain to me the basics of saddle fit (or maybe they didn't want to take the time).

Summary: I highly recommend Julie from Hands On Horses Equine Massage in Sydney if anyone is looking for a top therapist who can help you work through muscular and saddle fit issues. A breath of fresh air in the confusing world of misinformation!.
