Purchase: I bought 5lbs/160day supply for $37 from Jeffers. I was looking for a product that was affordable at constant loading dose. I read that one of the reasons these products don't work is due to too low dose.
Likes: Very good value. I was looking for a supplement where I could justify feeding double dose all the time. My horse seem to like the powder taste, always licks the bucket empty. It has a good taste, I even tried it.
Dislikes: The container is ok but could be even quicker to open.
Quality: Having always heard bad things about feeding a powdered joint supplement, I must disagree. Liquids makes a mess in the original bucket. In the summer when I cut back on feed, the liquids run past the feed and mostly just ends in the bottom. My horse never licked up his liquid joint supplement like this.
Summary: Having tried many liquid brands with all the possible joint supporting ingredients, this is still my favorite. I have personally used many joint products (for me) and this last year I tried a powdered product with just the glucosamine and it works 100% as well. I feel like the same is true for my horse, he's sounder than ever at 10.
