Purchase: I bought this saddle new at the local tack shop in October and paid $998.00. It came with only the medium gullet installed and the Wintec saddle cover.
Likes: I was looking at several other saddles, mostly used because of the price and was persuaded to take this one to the barn and try it out for 4 days. I loved it the first ride!! My horse moved so much better, although that might have been because I was able to sit so much better in this saddle. I was using the Wintec 500 and although it was comfortable and fit my horse very well, the Isabel just allowed me to sit so much quieter. It kept my legs in the proper position and I just love the saddle. I knew I was going to buy it as soon as I had finished the first ride on it.
Dislikes: Absolutely nothing but the name WINTEC in big letters. Otherwise it rides and looks like the expensive made saddle it is.
Quality: Very well made. The equisuede is easy to clean and doesn't require the constant cleaning of leather.
I love not having leather to clean. I was given a tip by another Isabel owner and that was to brush it off after every ride so I do that and the saddle still looks brand new and unused after two months.
Summary: I highly recommend this saddle to everyone and anyone. It is easy to maintain, comfortable for the horse and super secure and comfortable for the rider. I give this saddle a high 5!
