Purchase: Purchased on ebay, used. Was $1200 and in great condition. Purchased in 2005, made in 2002. Deep Seat, regular flaps, 16'' seat. Dark drown, beautiful! Used for hunters and equitation on all types of horses- fits everyone!!
Likes: Pretty much everything. This fits TBs and WBs alike, and even the ponies! I don't own a horse, I literally ride every shape and size. There are very few this didn't fit on- namely the horses that are extra obese w/ no withers which no saddle fits correctly. The leather is great on this saddle, I oiled it a few times when I first got it, and it stays soft and supple always, I don't even need to use conditioner it is just that soft! I've ridden in it a LOT over the last 2 years, in jeans and half chaps and you cannot even see wear on it! I am currently selling the saddle ONLY b/c a 16 is too small and I need to go up in size, and I have already been offered what I paid! The deep seat is in no way too deep. This saddle is perfect for the flat, and even better over the jumps, supportive but not in your way. Mine has only front blocks (I did ride in a different Natural w/ front and rear blocks, and did not like it). Although I have not jumped over about 3'3''-3'6'' in this, I have no problem saying it would be suitable for higher jumps.
Dislikes: Nothing- I don't know if this is just an amazing Beval Natural or if they are all this great. This saddle is a steal for the price and rivals the much more expensive saddles I have tried and cannot afford- the PJ, the Butet and the Tad Coffin. The leather does not dry out even w/out maintenance, and yet the softness does not inhibit it's durability.
Quality: Awesome. Leather is great, feels great, looks great, and holds up even w/ heavy riding. Fits a lot of horses, very comfortable w/out being a couch. Very classy and correct.
Summary: Highly recommend. I am sad to have to sell this one :(
