Purchase: Bought from a tack store in the Toronto area, for about $120 on sale.
Likes: They are very comfortable, and they keep my feet pretty warm. The calf is wide enough to accommodate winter breeches, thick socks, or jeans, and mine have been very durable. They're also very easy to clean, and great for working around the barn in!
Dislikes: The plastic-y panels on the inside of the calf scratch my new saddle, so I have to switch back to paddock boots and half chaps before I ride now. They're also a little too short for me, so they sometimes catch on the bottom of the saddle flap. They are very thick through the calf, and it feels a bit like riding in casts.
Quality: I find them to be very well-made boots. I rode in them for a couple of winters, and have had no problems at all with their constructions. They're still holding together as well as the day I bought them.
Summary: Overall a very comfy and reasonably warm boot for wearing around the barn, but with a few important flaws for riding.
