Purchase: I purchase this saddle as a suggestion to fit my hard to fit Thoroughbred. I found it at Crazy Horse Tack online and paid $795.
Likes: I had ridden in them before so it made it more enticing to purchase. I find it super comfortable and well balanced. I went from riding in saddles worth 4 times more to this saddle and didn't have a problem. The leather has softened up quite a bit as well. I found the seat comfortable and the flaps fit me well regardless of my short legs.
Dislikes: The leather IS hard to get loose. However, if you take the time to properly oil it before you use the tack and work the leather in first, it loosens well. It's also quite slippery at first as well.
Quality: The leather is a french leather BUT the saddle is constructed in Argentina. Therefore, there are some quality issues with the leather. The dye will rub if not properly cared for.
Summary: I like the saddle. I feel for the price you get a saddle that will last with proper care and look nice as well.
