Purchase: I brought this saddle from Dover Saddlery's Clearance page. I paid about $800 for it.
Likes: I love the fit of this saddle to my horse. The first time I rode in it I could feel my horse's back come up at the canter more than ever before. I was also able to change the gullet to custimize the fit even more. I feel that the fit to my horse this saddle achevied can only be matched my a customized saddle. This saddle allows you to feel every move the horse makes just like a close contact saddle so it is great for the rider too. This saddle is great and if you look around for a good deal (I recommend Dover's Clearance page.) it is also very affordable.
Dislikes: The adjustable knee rolls ended up annoying me as I could never get them equal, so I took them out. Still a great saddle.
Quality: The saddle is constucted very well, the only problem I see is that the billets are not made of a quality that I would expect to see in a saddle of this quality. But billects can be replaced and the rest of the saddle is excellent and breaks in pretty quickly. I recommend the Leather New line to speed up this process.
Summary: My horse loves this saddle, I have seen an improvement in his way of going and the saddle from what I have seen is well made, so I love the saddle too!
