Purchase: I purchased this pair of black split reins from chicksaddlery.com because the description listed the reins as "quality amish made", plus, they were only $16.99. Maybe I just got a bad pair, but these were like cardboard. I tried oiling them with pure neatsfoot oil. That helped, but they are far from "quality." I've used these once and they are starting to crack.
Likes: I like the color.
Dislikes: The leather is of poor quality, and the product is unsafe.
Quality: The reins are all leather with no stitching or metal hardware, which would be okay if the leather was better.
Summary: I'm disappointed with the product, and will not buy it again.
