Purchase: I got this two years ago for around 20$ from fleet farm. My horse was confined to stall rest for an extended period of time following surgery, so I wanted something to break up the monotony. I also just pulled it out again to try it on another horse of mine(because he was starting to get bored in his stall and crib!).
Likes: If you look at the directions they could eat just about the whole thing, and you don't have to worry about over consumption. (10 ounces per day for consumption/ vs the whole thing weighs about 16 ounces)
Dislikes: You have to try this to know if your horse will like it. My first horse didn't pay any attention to it. It would hit him in the head cause he kept forgetting it was there and then spook him self,...comedy relief really. About a month later, he must have gotten sick of it hitting him in the head he took it down and I found the pieces. I put it back together for my second horse. He immediately left his hay to go play. I found it the next morning laying and he broke the plastic plate. Guess he must have liked it.
Quality: o.k it might break or might not depending on your horse and how rough they play with it. Can't say it's indestructible!
