Purchase: I ordered these boots online for my horse who is transitioning from shoes to being barefoot.
Likes: The concept of these boots is wonderful. The velcro is very tough. They are very easy to put on and remove. Stayed on my horses hooves at the walk trot and canter.
Dislikes: I don't like that the boot comes up past the hairline. I did get the pastern wraps because debris would get into the boots without them. The problem is that the pastern wraps are somewhat flimsy and don't stay in place well. Just plain old Vetwrap works better.
Quality: As stated before, I don't like the pastern wraps, but the boots are nice. The velcro is very strong. The leather is smooth and soft. The sole is very tough.
Summary: Decent boot that anyone can apply without a lot of fuss. When used correctly, seems to stay in place and protect the horse hoof.
