Purchase: I bought this saddle and the Pro from Dover when I was looking for a saddle. It looked okay in the catalog, and since it was only $799, and the Pro basically the same, I decided it was worth a shot.
Likes: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Dislikes: Right when I pulled both saddles out of the box, my mind was screaming "No!" It was slippery, like a wet fish, and smelled awful, not at all like a saddle. When I lifted the flap or even moved it around it squeaked, which is totally unattractive, and a real turn-off. It didn't look or feel like leather. I didn't even ride in it, I disliked it so much. It was big and bulky, in my eyes, very ugly for hunters, and just looked plain cheap. It has a reason, at only eight hundred bucks, but really really bad.
Quality: I thought it looked plain cheap. I didn't ride in it to see how it held up there, but it felt rather ominous.
Summary: If you are just fooling around or trail or pleasure riding, its a good saddle. It has nothing special to it, and it is poor quality, but if you don't want to do anything with it, its fine.
I may be prejudiced from riding in a Tad Coffin, but I just plain out hated the saddle.
