Purchase: I got this at TSC for $20.
Likes: The Hamilton halters are almost indestructable. They last forever (almost) and the hardware doesn't rust either. It takes a few years for them to start to fray too.
Dislikes: I would take off the horse's halter, any halter, if using a fly mask. One of my mares almost rubbed her skin off of her cheek. She has a tendancy to rub and now I don't keep a halter on her ever. She had a halter on under her fly mask and the rubbing of the both did a number on her face.
Quality: The halters are triple stitched nylon, brass hardware. The buckles are nice and big so no fighting to get the halter on or off.
Summary: When you're buying for a herd of 30, you need a product that will not only last but last well. I used to buy cheap $5 "disposable" halters and was replacing them almost twice a year. The Hamiltons last a long time.
